In the past, I've looked at the MacBook Air as a niche product. It was most definitely a neat looking laptop but I never really felt that it would benefit our business. When Apple released the latest version last year, it changed my mind. The combination of portability, versatility, and computing power are perfect for what we do on a daily basis!

The 13 inch model is a great substitute for our 15 inch MacBook Pro when we're out of the office. It's processing power leaves a bit to be desired but for on the road edits, it performs just fine. I decided on the 2.13 Ghz model which is pretty darn close to my 2.8 Ghz chip in the MacBook Pro anyway. The SSD's compensate for this as well and make for the snappiest experience I've ever had on a Mac.

Not only does the Air have enough power for daily use, it's absolutely stunning to look at. It's the lightest and thinnest computer I've ever used. The 1440x900 screen has as many pixels as my 15 inch MacBook Pro and is beautiful to use for all applications. Some products inspire creativity and this is definitely one of those products!

Overall, I'm thrilled with the MacBook Air so far. It'll be traveling with us to every session in 2011 and will definitely be a life saver when we head to Mexico in May. Leave a comment after this post if you have any more questions for us!
