As we get ready for a double wedding weekend, I wanted to get a quick post up! Anna and I are working with Laura & Micah in Omaha on Friday and then we'll be heading to Kansas City to shoot Matt & Mary's wedding on Saturday. We're extremely excited for this weekend because we've had the opportunity to really get to know both couples in different ways. I know Anna and I couldn't enjoy this as much as we do without all of our awesome couples!

I also wanted to include a quick teaser of the family session we shot last night with the Hanuseks. Their daughters were so cute! We had a lot of fun despite the swarms of mosquitoes we had to fight off!

I wanted to share a family session that John did with the Genoways family right before Christmas!  We're finally getting caught up on all of our old posts since we have the newly designed blog.  This was a super quick session because the kiddos were freezing (and I think everyone else was too), but we still love the way everything turned out.  Hopefully we'll shoot again with them next year on a warmer day!  Isn't the barn amazing?  I wish we had one in our backyard!

If you are interested in any of our design services, let us know and we will get you a price quote.  We offer almost anything that you can think of including save-the-dates, invitations, and of course, holiday cards!

This would have been a perfect "Merry Christmas" post...but instead, hope everyone had a Happy Valentine's Day yesterday!  John and I had dinner at Crave and it was fantastic.  We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Anna and I have had a blast working with the Krohn family for the last few years on their Christmas cards.  We typically find a date in the fall to shoot the photos and design a card in time to send out for the Holidays. Traci and Steve haven't been in the photos yet but we're hoping we can talk them in to it next year! It's hard to argue with them though since their kids make for such great models!

One thing I've learned about Traci over the past few years is that she has a thing for black and white photos. I don't mean she kind of likes them, she's totally in love with them! I like most of our photos to be shown in color. Why? I'm really particular about keeping things consistent. Sometimes I mix and match but for the most part, every new post is primarily in color. Anytime I show Traci a new session Anna or I have shot, I know she's wishing it was in black and white. I decided to make this post all B&W just for her...even though my next post will most definitely have to be in color!
